Pern Baan

The DIN collection, created in collaboration with designer Christopher Merchant and developed with the artisans of Chuanlhong Ceramic in Northern Thailand.

DIN (ดิน — Thai for “clay”) draws from Chris' signature fluted forms, translated through regional ceramic techniques including slip casting and hand-applied glazing. Each sconce is individually hand-finished, with subtle tonal shifts and surface variations emerging naturally through the firing process — reflecting both the unpredictability of clay and the longstanding ceramic traditions of Northern Thailand.
